Habitat For Humanity/Habitat Ireland

Habitat for Humanity helps families and communities to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in 70 countries around the world.

GOAL

The entry point for GOAL into those countries in which we work has typically been in the context of an emergency. Over the last 40 years GOAL has responded to nearly every major humanitarian crisis. We have worked in more than 60 countries, with millions of theworld’s poorest and most vulnerable people

Trocaire

Trócaire works with local and church partners to support communities in over 20 developing countries with a focus on food and resource rights, women’s empowerment and humanitarian response.

Irish Red Cross

National Societies act as auxiliaries to the public authorities of their own countries in the humanitarian field and provide a range of services including disaster relief, health and social programmes, and assistance to people affected by war. Together, the National Societies have 97 million members and volunteers and 300,000 employees who assist some 233 million beneficiaries each year.

Multiple support services in 190 of the world poorest countries. In 2011, child deaths among under 5s stood at 18,000 a day

There are 20 Oxfam groups worldwide working in over 90 of the world’s poorest countries

Action AID Ireland

ActionAid works with over 15 million people in 45 countries around the world. ActionAid Ireland is currently funding programmes across six of these countries.

The Hope Foundation

The Hope Foundation is a registered charity working with street and slum children in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India. We work to free children and poor families from lives of pain, abuse, poverty and darkness.

We are dedicated to providing human rights, medical care and social education for children that have been abandoned or orphaned, children with special needs and children with terminal illnesses in the Republic of Moldova

Chernobyl Children’s Trust

Chernobyl Children’s Trust is a registered charity set up and run by Irish volunteers committed to helping impoverished children living in contaminated & disadvantaged areas of Belarus
